ILS | Immediate Life Support

What is the ILS course?
The 1-Day Level 4 Certificate in Out of Hospital Immediate Life Support (RQF) is a course designed for those with the responsibility either at work or in a voluntary capacity to effectively run and manage a cardiac arrest in pre-hospital environment. It is also a mandatory annual course which all FREC 4, L4 AAP and FREUC 5 qualified personnel must attend to keep their certification valid as part of their annual CPD requirements.
What does our ILS course cover?
During this 1 day course, learners will develop the necessary skills associated with immediate life support, including: airway management, patient assessment, management of major illness/injury, post-incident procedures, Managing the Return of Spontaneous Circulation (RoSC), patient handovers and more.
Who is our ILS course for?
The Qualsafe Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF) is ideal for those who have a responsibility at work, or in community or voluntary activities to provide emergency care to patients, such as: event medical providers, emergency ambulance personnel, registered healthcare professionals and those working in specialist roles within the emergency services and military.

1 x Theory assessment (Learner Workbook)
3 x Practical Assessments/Skills Test.
