What is our Emergency First Aid course?

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a regulated, nationally recognised one-day qualification that certifies individuals to provide emergency first aid in workplace settings. It meets the requirements of current Health and Safety (First‑Aid) regulations and is valid for three years.

Who is our Emergency First Aid course for?

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

What is covered on our Emergency First Aid course?

During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries.

How do we assess our Emergency First Aid course?

  • 4 x Practical assessments;

  • 1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).

How do we certify our Emergency First Aid course?

Successful candidates will be awarded the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) certificate.
