








CERAD | Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving
What is CERAD?
Through theory and practical sessions, the Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (RQF) (CERAD) qualification gives learners the knowledge and skills to drive an ambulance routinely and respond to incidents in a range of environments under emergency and non-emergency conditions.
Who is CERAD for?
This qualification is for people who are employed by, or contracted to, an NHS Trust or CQC Registered Ambulance Service (Independent or Voluntary Aid Society) with the required authorisation to undergo training in emergency response ambulance driving.
How do we assess CERAD?
K2 International focuses on clinical education and training and as such we have partnered with SCTNI to deliver and assess our CERAD courses which will include:
8 x Practical Assessments – assessed by trainer.
2 x Practical Assessments – assessed by an independent assessor.
2 x Multiple Choice Question Papers (includes road signs question paper).
1 x Learner Workbook.
